LG TV remote app for iPhone and Android
EveryRemote controls LG smart TVs running webOS over your home Wi-Fi. No ads, no LG account, no ThinQ sign-in.
Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play
How to set it up
- Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as your LG TV, and turn the TV on.
- Open EveryRemote and tap your LG TV in the list.
- Your TV asks whether to accept the connection. Choose Accept with your TV remote. You only do this once.
- To turn the TV on from your phone later, turn on Turn on via Wi-Fi on the TV (called Mobile TV On on older models).
Good to know
- Typing works: when a search box is open on the TV, type on your phone and it appears as you go.
- If the TV changes its address on your Wi-Fi, EveryRemote finds it again by itself.

Which LG TVs work?
LG smart TVs with webOS, which covers most LG smart TVs from 2014 on, including OLED and NanoCell models.
Do I need LG ThinQ?
No. EveryRemote connects to the TV directly over your Wi-Fi, with no account.
Why won't my LG TV turn on from my phone?
Turn on the TV's Turn on via Wi-Fi setting (Mobile TV On on older models). Without it, the TV switches its Wi-Fi off when it's off.
