Little Burp Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nothing. We never receive your baby's name, birthday, logs, growth measurements, notes or doctor visits, and we have no server that could store them.
What stays on your iPhone
Everything you enter: your baby's name, birthday and sex if you give them, feeds, sleep, diapers and other logs, growth measurements, notes, doctor visits and questions, reminders, and the names and roles of the people who help. Save a copy in Settings makes a file that you keep wherever you choose.
Sharing with family (optional)
- Invite and update files: when you invite someone or send an update, Little Burp makes a
.littleburpfile and you send it yourself, by AirDrop, Messages or any app you pick. It goes only where you send it. - Live sync with iCloud: if you turn it on, the log is kept in your own iCloud account and shared, through Apple's iCloud sharing, only with the people you invite. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud. We can't see it.
- You can remove someone, or turn live sync off, at any time in Settings.
Permissions the app may ask for
- Notifications: for the reminders you switch on. They're scheduled on your iPhone.
- Photos: only the screenshot or photo you pick when you bring in the daycare's notes.
- Camera: only while you scan a paper daycare sheet. The text is read on your iPhone, and the picture isn't kept.
- Siri: when you ask Siri to log something, Apple handles what you say under its own privacy policy. Little Burp receives only the log.
Each permission is optional. If you say no, the rest of the app keeps working.
Purchases
Any purchase is handled by Apple's App Store. We never receive your name or payment details.
Crash reports
If you've chosen to share analytics with Apple in your device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us. We use them only to fix bugs, and they don't contain your log.
Children
Little Burp is made for parents and the people who help them. It's where you write down your baby's day, and that information stays with you. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Not medical advice
Little Burp is a log, not a medical device. If you're worried about your baby, call your pediatrician.
